Garhi Dupatta Memorial Hospital consists of a five -story hospital and a separate three-story Service building caring for the needs of people whose lives were affected by the 2005 earthquake. The Hospital building area totals approximately 100,800 square feet and the Service Building area totals approximately 44,600 square feet. The exterior of both buildings are currently assumed to consist of a pre-manufactured metal panel system attached to light-gage metal stud framing. The plans will be designed to meet current US standards and the design team continues to research construction materials and practices specifically needed for this region.
